NEET-2018: Aadhaar is Compulsory

NEET-UG-2018 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) form has released and these forms are available online. The CBSE board has released the suitable information for NEET 2018 examination for both MBBS and BDS courses which is going to be held on 6th May, 2018. The important dates, eligibility criteria and the way tofill the form online are precisely stated by the board. Students are advised to fill the forms for NEET 2018 on cbseneet.nic.in. Moreover, this exam will be conducted in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Urdu, Oriya, Marathi, Assamese, Bengali, Telugu, Kannada and Tamil. 

Since the last year, the CBSE board had made Aadhaar card mandatory. Make sure, you put the Aadhaar card details while applying the form online. It is required to put your name, Aadhaar number, date of birth and gender in the online form to provide the individual’s identity proof and authentication. However, the students from Assam, J& K and Meghalaya, need to provide their ration card number, passport number, bank account number or any other identity proof provided by the Govt. and can select the city of examination within the concerned state only.

However, for the convenience of the students, the detailed information as well as the steps to fill the NEET 2018 form are clearly available on the official website. Remember, NEET scores will be acknowledged apart from the JIPMER MBBS 2018 test and AIIMS MBBS 2018 entrance test to get admission in all MBBS and BDS courses in India. Besides, the admission in AFMC (Armed Forces Medical College) will be conducted based on the NEET 2018 score.


The Eligibility for NEET 2018

Students who have completed class 12 or equivalent exam and who are going to appear class 12 exams with the subjects including Physics, Chemistry and Biology, are eligible to sit for this entrance test. Like the previous year, the minimum age limit to appear in this test is 17 years as on 31st Dec. 2018 and the upper age limit is 25 years aon the date of examination. Remember, maximum 3 attempts are allowed for NEET. Students, who have appeared in the NEET 2017 and again they are preparing for NEET 2019, then it would be their last chance.

The Instructions to Apply NEET 2018

To apply for this test, students must log in to the cbseneet.nic.in and remember; only online applications are accepted. Complete the form by following each instructionand upload your image, along with the signature. The allocation of the examination city depends on the sequence of the students’ enrolment means first come first serve basis. However, the online portal for NEET 2018 will be working till 9th March, 2018.
